May 15th Day Outing - Hiking/Orienteering at Challenger 7 Memorial Park

The Saturday, May 15^th Day Outing will be held at Challenger 7 Memorial Park (near 2301 W. NASA Blvd, Webster TX 77598) starting at 9:30 AM and will involve a hiking event focused on Orienteering. This activity can be used to satisfy First Class Requirement 4a. There is no cost for this event. BRING A COMPASS as well as appropriate hiking gear such as comfortable shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, etc. Class A uniforms are not required for this event.

Our March 26-28 Campout will be held at Camp Strake. This campout will also be our first 'shakedown' hike for our Philmont treks. In addition, other scouts will be able to work on camping rank requirements.

This Tuesday, we'll welcome our newest scouts! We're going to focus our meeting on helping our new scouts meet their Scout rank requirements. If you are 1st Class or higher, you can help lead in teaching these requirements. This is a great time for us to welcome in our new scouts and help them get connected into our troop.
